“Smoke Free Athletes Kick Butt” Poster Series Returns

Tobacco free is the way to be and NWT athletes are proud to role model their healthy lifestyle choices on the popular “Don’t Be a Butthead” poster series.
The colourful posters have been receiving rave reviews and requests for additional copies have already flooded the Butthead office.

Athletes who participated at the Arctic Winter Games in the sports of basketball, volleyball, cultural dance, dog sledding, badminton, biathlon, figure skating, and soccer are featured in the new series. 77% of the athletes who attended the AWG made a promise to be smoke free!!!!

The delivery of the “Smoke Free Athletes Kick Butt” poster’s launches the 7th season of the Don’t Be a Butthead campaign where the “kick butt” message is an integral theme for this year’s campaign. Youth that make a promise to be smoke free will able to show their peers that they are smoke free by wearing “Kick Butt” sweat pants or by literally kicking butt by receiving a Butthead soccer ball.
